What are Affirmations?

Affirmations are words of power that have a healing effect on those who use them. Words truly do have the power to heal, and they can change your life. The Universal Church of Metaphysics invites you to explore the spiritual healing power of affirmations.

Dive In! The Water's Fine...

During this experiential phase of the course, keep a journal on your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and dreams. Even if you already have a journal, dedicate a special one to this. If you would like, decorate it beautifully and bless it with sage, essential oils, or place a crystal on top of it when you are not writing in it. Make sure your journal time is special, and create sacred space for it. Light a candle or some special incense when you are doing the exercises, as well when you are journaling. During the time you designate for the exercises, pay special attention to moments when you feel “in the flow,” when “coincidences” occur, when you find yourself in the right place at the right time, and when you feel Divine guidance at work. Make sure at least a few of your exercises are practiced outdoors, in a natural environment. Spend some special time acknowledging the beauty and magic at work in your life, and give thanks often. Gratitude affirms life.

“Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our choice which secret garden we will tend…When we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives, but are grateful for the abundance that is present—love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure—the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth.”
—Sarah Ban Breathnac
