Astral Projection can give you a new lease on life. It brings you the true knowledge of Earth as an alternate version of realities among many. Living across the dimensions is an exquisite experience indeed. Of course, this is a level of freedom of consciousness that is experienced by very few.

Once a person lives as a citizen of more than one reality, not solely the human reality, the human body is no longer a limitation to the possibilities for consciousness to have experiences. The ability to straddle dimensions is not enlightenment. This is what some people consider enlightenment, but actually, enlightenment happens far earlier in the process of awakening, long before mastery of travel through dimensional space happens. Enlightenment happens when a person realizes oneself as eternal consciousness that is having an experience. Enlightenment means “to know,” or know who you really are, in metaphysical terms. The ability to traverse dimensions is a spiritual power, not enlightenment. This is really important to understand so that you can keep it all in perspective as you attain spiritual powers. Attaining these abilities is not a requirement for enlightenment, and not everyone has to pursue them in order to be just as enlightened as a person who crosses dimensions. A person with spiritual powers is not necessarily enlightened. Spiritual powers can be gained without enlightenment coming first. All that is required to be considered “enlightened” is the ability to be awake, present and fully conscious in every moment, aware of who and what you are even in the midst of whatever is going on around you. Realize astral projection for what it is: simply another arena for consciousness to have adventures in, just like lucid dreams are, and not a requirement for enlightenment.

However, astral projection, as with other spiritual powers like psychic abilities and lucid dreaming, spiritual powers can assist with enlightenment. You will learn, even if you have only brief glimpses of other realities, that you are far freer than you thought you were and you will look at life on Earth with new eyes. You will learn about your consciousness and your identity through astral projections and other abilities, so realize that it is useful on your spiritual path if you find yourself with these powers, but not the end of your journey of awakening.
