Lesson 57

Review:

When we begin to view our lives in the context of service to a higher power, the power that exists in God as love, we come to know our true inner selves in the context of the living breathing entity that transforms fear into opportunity. Uniting ourselves with source, we find strength, courage and peace in the presence of a totally pervading force that lives in truth and beauty.

Lesson 58

Review:

Once we accept ourselves as living, breathing lights of joy in unity with God's eternal plan, we are free to move our attention to moving into the stream of service in God's love.

Lesson 59

Review:

God is our strength, our vision and our mind. We cannot separate ourselves from source without disrupting the whole natural order of events. Beauty, truth, joy and love are our natural birthrights if only we will claim them. We exist as our higher selves solely within the framework of God as love, light and truth.

Lesson 60

Review:

We are children of God, free from sin, free to forgive and most importantly, free to live our lives away from the shadow of fear. When we allow ourselves to trust in God's love, and accept our humanity we are able to allow our need to share our divine love whose only origin is source. It guides our thoughts, actions and paths towards the truth.

Lesson 61

"I am the light of the world."

This statement of truth is a self-empowering concept that allows us humility and grace in our soulful acceptance of the truth of our Creator and the sanctity of life in all forms including our own. A prayer follows. It should be repeated as many times a day as possible. We tell ourselves:

"I am the light of the world.
That is my only function.
That is why I am here."

The suggestion is to begin and end the day with these thoughts in mind, closing the eyes if possible while repeating the idea silently or aloud to oneself.

Lesson 62

"Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world."

In true forgiveness lies salvation. Forgiveness allows us to remember the truth of who we really are. It removes weakness and disharmony. As frequently as possible during the day we can recite this prayer aloud or silently:

Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world.

I would fulfill my function that I may be happy.

If the attention should wander for any reason, one can repeat the original message adding,

I would remember this because I want to be happy.

Related thoughts that come from the heart will also stimulate the awareness of the righteousness of allowing ourselves and our fellow creatures the right to make and learn from our mistakes.

Lesson 63

"The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness."

The Prayer:

"I am the means God has appointed for the salvation of the world."

Once again, if we spend our first and last waking moments focusing on these words of truth, we reinforce the blessings we received the day we were born. We reclaim our spot in divine order and ascertain earthly transcendence.
