Lesson 127

"There is no love but God's."

There are no separate or different kinds of love. Love is one. It never changes with a person or circumstance. It is the Heart of God and His Son. Love's meaning is obscure to anyone who thinks that it can change, given to one and withheld from others. The true meaning of love cannot understand this way. Love looks on all as one, it does not judge. Love is a law without an opposite. There is no difference between what is love and who you really are. Love's meaning is your own and shared by God. You and God are the same. You are as unlimited as God Himself. The world was made to hide love's meaning, and to keep it dark and secret. For 15 minutes per day, escape every law in which you now believe. Let the gift of God replace them all. Open your mind and rest. Today we leave the past behind us giving thanks that we are spared a future like the past. At least three times an hour think of someone close to you to share this message:

"I bless you, brother, with the Love of God,
Which I would share with you. For I would learn
The joyous lesson that there is no love
But God's and yours and mine and everyone's."

Lesson 128

"The world I see holds nothing that I want."

Today we practice letting go all thought of values we have given to the world. The world has nothing you can use or anything that will serve you or give you joy. Letting go of the value of the world will save you from countless disappointments. We hold it purposeless within our minds, and loosen it from all we wish it were. We lift the chains that bar the door to freedom from the world, and go beyond all little values and diminished goals. Be still and feel peace for awhile and see how far you can rise above the world. Release your mind from chains and seek the level where you feel free and at home. Let it rest in its Creator and join its holy purpose. Every time you let your mind escape its chains your perspective on the world will change. You belong where the world is meant to be. Protect your mind throughout the day by refusing to lay upon your mind any chain caused by a false image or value of the world.

"This will not tempt me to delay myself.
The world I see holds nothing that I want."

Lesson 129

"Beyond this world there is a world I want."

Let's move forward from the last thought and exchange any idea of a worthless world for one that is satisfying, filled with joy and capable of offering you peace.

"Beyond this world there is a world I want.
I choose to see that world instead of this,
For here is nothing I really want."

Close your eyes upon the world you see, and in the silent darkness watch the lights that are not of this world light one by one. Today the lights of Heaven shine on you as you rest beyond the world of darkness. We give thanks for this day of grace given today with the understanding there is no loss. We make the choice never to look back upon the world you do not want, unbinding your mind from the little things the world presents to imprison you.

Beyond this world there is a world I want."

Lesson 130

"It is impossible to see two worlds."

What you see reflects your thinking. And your thinking reflects your choice of what you want to see. This is determined by your values. Can one love and hate simultaneously? Can one desire what one does not have as reality? Love and perception go together and fear is obscured by darkness. Truth is eclipsed by fear and what remains is only imagined. Fear has made only appearances and differences in the world. Love has no enemy, no cause, no being and no consequence. These two worlds do not overlap. While seeking one, the other disappears. The world you see proves the choice you have made. It is consistent from your point of view. It stems from one emotion and reflects its source in everything you see. Give five minutes six times a day in thanks and gratitude to the thought that ends all compromise and doubts and go beyond them all. Devote your mind to finding only what is real. Begin searching for the other world by asking for a strength beyond your own, recognize what it is you seek. Empty your hands of all illusions and petty treasures of this world. Wait for God's help and say:

"It is impossible to see two worlds.
Let me accept the strength God offers me
And see no value in this world, that I
May find my freedom and deliverance."

The unfailing Power of God will be there when you take this giant step in gratitude. Whenever the temptation arises remember the limitations of your choice. Perception is consistent with your choice. Heaven or hell comes to you as one. If you accept a piece of hell as real it will curse your sight and damn you. Heaven is still a choice to take the place of everything. To whatever form your hell is seen simply say:

"It is impossible to see two worlds.
I seek my freedom and deliverance,
And this is not a part of what I want."

Lesson 131

"No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth."

There is no way to attain goals by means that are meaningless. Do not look for permanence in the impermanent, for love where there is none, for safety in the midst of danger, immortality in the darkness of death. Who can succeed where contradiction is where he finds stability? Who can use such means to gain anything? You will find Heaven, for no one can abandon his Creator, this perfect, timeless and unchanging Love. You will reach your true goal as God created you in purity. Heaven is here today beyond the illusion of past or future. God does not suffer conflict and his creation is not divided in two. Today we will not choose a paradox to replace truth. Lets ask to see the real world instead of foolish images and true ideas arising in place of meaningless thoughts with no source or substance in truth. Everything but Heaven will fall away because you do not want the rest.

"I ask to see a different world, and think
A different kind of thought from those I made.
The world I seek I did not make alone,
The thoughts I want to think are not my own."

Remember that no one can fail who seeks the truth. Close your eyes and review your thoughts which are compatible with a senseless world and let them go. Reach beyond them and open a door with your intention. All darkness vanishes as angels light the way and you understand everything you see. Refrain from dismal thoughts because Salvation's time has come as grace for you and the world.

"Today I seek and find all that I want.
My single purpose offers it to me.
No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth."

Lesson 132

"I loose the world from all I thought it was."

Belief is powerful. Your thoughts and illusions are what keep the world in chains. Salvation is easily achieved because anyone is free to change his thoughts and mind. Changing your mind means you have changed the source of all ideas freeing the past and future. In the present the world is set free. The world is nothing in itself, only your mind gives it meaning. You have enslaved it with your fears, doubts and pain. You think you have not made the world, yet gave it meaning with your thoughts. Surprisingly however, you have found exactly what you looked for when you arrived. Change your mind to what you want to see and the world will change accordingly. Those who are now prepared to learn that there is no world can accept the gift of healing. Some will learn this upon their death and others in the exercises of this course. The sick are healed as you let go all thoughts of sickness. Know yourself as the Salvation of the world. Change your mind about yourself and free the world of every kind of pain. Release the world, your real creations await.

"I who remain as God created me
Would loose the world from all I thought it was.
For I am real because the world is not,
And I would know my own reality."

As you send out these thoughts, brothers around the world are healed and blessed. You will feel your own release along with them. Increase your freedom throughout the day by your ideas of the world. Whenever you are tempted to deny the power of your change of mind, say:

"I loose the world from all I thought it was,
And choose my own reality instead."

Lesson 133

"I will not value what is valueless."

You do not ask too much from life, but far too little. Today we list the real criteria by which to test all things you think you want. Unless your desires meet these requirements, they are not worth desiring. There is no compromise in what your choice might bring. Each choice you make brings everything or nothing to you. If you learn the tests by which you can distinguish everything from nothing you will make the better choice. If you choose something that is not everlasting, it is valueless. A temporary value lacks any value. Deny illusions and accept the truth.

"I will not value what is valueless,
And only what has value do I seek,
For only that do I desire to find."

You receive at the gate of Heaven, which swings open, what waits for everyone who reaches it.

A simple thought to help you face any difficult decisions or burdens:

"I will not value what is valueless,
For what is valuable belongs to me."
