Lesson 246

"To love my Father is to love his Son."

Hatred will never lead me to God. By loving God's Son I will come to know his Father and my Self. My Self is within the Father who loves me.

"I will accept the way You choose for me to come to You, my Father. For in that will I succeed, because it is Your Will. And I would recognize that what You will is what I will as well, and only that. And so I choose to love Your Son. Amen."

Lesson 247

"Without forgiveness I will still be blind."

If I behold sin, I will suffer. If I forgive, Christ's vision will come to me. His sight is the truth and is healing.

"So would I look on everyone today. My brother's are Your Sons. Your Fatherhood created them all to me as part of You, and my own Self as well. Today I honor You through them, and thus I hope this day to recognize my Self."

Lesson 248

"Whatever suffers is not part of me."

Pain and suffering are but illusions in my mind. I renounce my ignorant self-concepts about reality and the Son of God. I am ready to accept the Son of God as he really is.

"Father, my ancient love for You returns, and lets me Love Your Son again as well. Father, I am as You created me. Now is Your Love remembered, and my own. Now do I understand that they are one."

Lesson 249

"Forgiveness ends all suffering and loss."

The suffering and loss in the world will be over when forgiveness rules. Anger will make no sense. Chaos and attacks will come to an end and the world will be full of joy, generosity and great abundance. The world is now so close to Heaven that soon it will transform completely and the journey that the Son of God started will come to an end.

"Father, we would return our minds to You. We have betrayed them, held them in a vise of bitterness, and frightened them with thoughts of violence and death. Now would we rest again in You, as You created us."

Lesson 250

"Let me not see myself as limited."

I wish to behold the Son of God this day and witness his glory. I want to let His holy light shine and see his strength continue. I do not want to perceive any weakness in him that I might use to attack his sovereignty.

"He is Your Son, my Father. And today I would behold his gentleness instead of my illusions. He is what I am, and as I see him so I see myself. Today I would see truly, that this day I may at last identify with him."

What is Sin?

This is a section about a page long that expresses ideas of the destructiveness of sin and the insanity that it really is. A short synopsis is as follows. Sin will drive your mind mad, and bring illusions to replace truth. Sin tries to make you see unreal things as reality like the idea that time must have an end, or that eternal life must die. Though the Son of God may forget for awhile that he is only a body and prey to evil and guilt, his Father still shines on him with everlasting love that does not change. Remember what you truly are and give up this game and come home.

Lesson 251

"I am in need of nothing but the truth."

I have searched for other things and only found despair. Now I am looking for only one thing and it is all I need or want. The things that I was searching for before, I did not need or want. I didn't recognize what my real need was. Now I see that I need truth alone. In truth all my needs are satisfied, my cravings end. I have everything I need and want. I am finally at peace.

"And for that peace, our Father, we give thanks. What we denied ourselves You have restored, and only that is what we really want."

Lesson 252

"The Son of God is my identity."

I am a holy being beyond what I have thought of before. My light is so pure and brighter than anything my eyes have seen before. My Self is full of love with no limits. It is the boundless Love of God. My Self is so far beyond this world, but so near to God and I, at the same time.

"Father, You know my true Identity. Reveal It now to me who am Your Son, that I may waken to the truth in You, and know that Heaven is restored to me."
