Lesson 183

"I call upon God's Name and on my own."

When you call upon God's Name you are calling your own name and they are both holy. You have the same name as your Father, which bonds you, just as you are bonded with your brothers in your name. When you call God's Name you hear an echo that reminds you. It invites Angels to be with you and protect you and keep you holy. The worlds illusions are let down and you find in their place a star that is a miracle of grace. Temptations are no longer an issue and are unwanted when His Name is said. You see things in the right perspective; you do not mistake sins for grace, or bodies for the holy Son of God.

Practice repeating God's Name slowly today. Be still and become oblivious to any other name. Focus all your thoughts on this. Let it be the only word you hear or know. Repeating His Name is an acknowledgment that he is the sole Creator of reality and His Son is part of Him. You will achieve a state of grace in doing this and escape all ties holding you down, releasing the world. His Name holds all prayers within it and no other words are necessary or significant.

Lesson 184

"The Name of God is my inheritance."

The symbols you have for everything separates you and only allows you see parts of reality. Everyone must go through this part of learning. Then you can question what this idea rests on and the effects of it. Raising to doubt all these names, you can begin a new education and gain a new perception of what truly is. God has no name, yet His Name becomes the final lesson that all things are one. Here is when all learning ends and all names are unified. All space is filled with truth's reflection. God's Name is the inheritance He gave to those who chose the teaching of the world to take the place of Heaven. You must first accept the Name for all reality and realize that the many names you have given its aspects distort what you see. As we bring the One Name into our practice, it unifies our sight.

"Father, our Name is Yours. In It we are united with all living things, and You Who are their one Creator. What we made and call by many different names is but a shadow we have tried to cast across Your Own Reality. And we are glad and thankful we were wrong. All our mistakes we give to You, that we may be absolved from all effects our errors seemed to have. And we accept the truth You give, in place of every one of them. Your Name is our salvation and escape from what we made. Your Name unites us in the oneness which is our inheritance and peace. Amen."

Lesson 185

"I want the peace of God."

Saying these words means nothing but to mean them is everything. When you mean these words for an instant, sorrow is no longer possible in any form, place or time. Heaven is completely given back to full awareness and the memory of God is entirely restored. Creation is totally resurrected and recognized. When you mean these words, you are healed. When you want the peace of God with sincerity, you are given it in the form of a lesson personalized for your very own growth and understanding. There is no compromise between God's peace and vain illusions. This means you must renounce all dreams and illusions. The mind that wants peace must join with other minds. No one can lose and everyone gains the gift of God that has been requested. The intention we seek today is to unite our desires with the need of every heart and call of every mind. There is hope beyond despair and love beyond attack. There is help when we request the peace of God be given us.

Lesson 186

"Salvation of the world depends on me."

This statement can take all arrogance away from each mind. This is the thought of true humility. It unites all wills on earth in Heaven's plan to save the world and restore Heaven's peace. Do not fight your function, the perfect means to accomplish your goal are given. Our minds are suited perfectly to take the part assigned to us by the One Who knows us well. Accept the plan that you did not make yourself. Forgiveness is an earthly form of love which in Heaven has no form. Salvation of the world depends on who you can forgive and is your function here.

Lesson 187

"I bless the world because I bless myself."

Giving is proof of having. No one can give unless he has. Giving will increase what you possess. Things are a representation of the thoughts that create them. When you give ideas away, you strengthen them. To save the world you must first accept salvation for yourself. You will not believe this until you see the miracles it brings to you and everyone. Give gladly. Giving and receiving is a form of exchange where both sides gain. Giving must laugh at the idea of sacrifice. Recognize the illusion of suffering by sacrifice. Now we are blessed and we bless the world. We offer our holy sight upon everything we see, for where we see it, it will be returned to us.

Lesson 188

"The peace of God is shining in me now."

Why wait for Heaven. The light is in you now. Enlightenment is merely recognition. The light came with you from your native home, it is your own and cannot be lost. The peace of God is shining in you now. It extends from your heart and goes around the world. It pauses to caress each living thing and leaves a blessing with it that remains forever. It brings renewal to all tired hearts and lights all vision. The shining light in your mind reminds the world of what it has forgotten. From you salvation radiates with gifts beyond all measure. The peace of God cannot be contained. He who recognizes it within himself must give it. He forgives because he recognizes the truth in him. Your inward vision is a reflection of your perception of the universe.

"The peace of God is shining in me now.
Let all things shine upon me in that place,
And let me bless them light the light in me."

Lesson 189

"I feel the Love of God within me now."

There is a light in you the world cannot perceive. This light is a reflection of the thought we practice now. When you feel the love of God within you, you can see the world anew, alive with hope, shining in innocence and blessed with perfect charity and love. Who could feel fear in a world like this? This is a world in which forgiveness shines on everything. Today we pass illusions. Forget this world and come with wholly empty hands before God. Your part is to allow all obstacles that you have placed between the Son of God and the Father to be quietly removed forever. Ask and receive. God knows his Son and the way to him. Through every opened door His love shines outward and lightens up the world in innocence.

"Father, we do not know the way to You. But we have called, and You have answered us. We will not interfere. Salvation's ways are not our own, for they belong to You. And it is unto You we look for them. Our hands are open to receive Your gifts. We have no thoughts we think apart from You, and cherish no beliefs of what we are, or Who created us. Yours is the way that we would find and follow. And we ask but that Your Will, which is our own as well, be done in us and in the world, that it becomes a part of Heaven now. Amen."
