Lesson 155

"I will step back and let Him lead the way.

There is a way of living in the world that makes you smile more frequently and quiets your eyes. Allow truth to walk before illusions. When the journey is finished there will be no distance between truth and you. We walk to God. Your feet are safely on the road that leads the world to God. Look not to ways that lead you elsewhere. Each day he asks you think of Him. He may speak to you and tell you of His limitless Love and remind you of how great His Trust.

"I will step back and let Him lead the way.
For I would walk along the road to Him."

Lesson 156

"I walk with God in perfect holiness."

This thought states the simple truth that the idea of sin is impossible. It is a promise that there is no cause for guilt. Truth must not contradict itself or be at all uncertain. Nothing can be apart from God and still live. Within this life there must also be holiness. God's attributes are shared by everything that lives. There is a light in you that cannot die. All things that live bring gifts to you. The scent of flowers is their gift to you. In lightness and in laughter sin is gone. The past and all its fantasies are gone. They no longer bind you. Let doubting cease with you. God speaks for you in answering your questions to these words:

"I walk with God in perfect holiness.
I light the world, I light my mind and all
The minds which God created one with me."

Lesson 157

"Into His Presence would I enter now."

Today is a day of silence and trust. It is a special time of promise. Today is holy, ushering in a new experience. You learn now to feel the joy of life, no longer celebrating the long days of death. A vision reaches everyone you meet and think of, or who thinks of you. A time will come when you will not return in the same form in which you now appear. It will no longer be necessary. We now enter Christ's Presence and are fully aware of his shining face and perfect love. The vision of his face will stay with you which speaks of your remembrance of what you knew that instance.

Lesson 158

"Today I learn to give as I receive."

You were created out of love. You are sinless forever with a pure mind, wholly unafraid. You remain as you were created, never having left your source. You have received all of this, just as everyone else. There is no step along the road that anyone takes by chance. There is a plan behind appearances that does not change. The script is written. Experience will come to end your doubting. We see the journey at its end looking back on it, reviewing mentally what has passed. There is a vision which the Holy Spirit sees because the mind of Christ beholds it too. Here is a quiet place within the world made holy by forgiveness and love. All contradictions are reconciled at the end of this journey. We can attain Christ's vision. It looks upon everyone, all thoughts, events and situations without the slightest fading of the light it sees. See no one as a body. Greet him as the Son of God he is and acknowledge that he is one with you in holiness. Christ's vision has the power to overlook all sins and by forgiving they are gone, replaced by the vision of holiness. Do you learn to give as you receive? If you remember your brother you but see yourself. Each brother you meet today provides another chance to let Christ's vision to shine on you. We practice seeing with the eyes of Christ and by the holy gifts we give Christ's vision looks upon ourselves.

Lesson 159

"I give the miracles I have received."

No one can give what he has not received. You are healed when you give healing. You accept forgiveness in yourself when you forgive. When you perceive yourself as whole, you recognize your brother as yourself. There is no miracle you cannot give. Receive these now by opening the storehouse of your mind and give them away. Christ's vision is a miracle where all miracles are born. This vision is the bridge between worlds. This power can safely carry you from this world to one made holy by forgiveness. Holiness has been restored to vision and the blind can see. His dream awakens us to truth.

Lesson 160

"I am at home. Fear is the stranger here."

If you identify with fear, you will be a stranger to yourself. Fear speaks a different language. If you are real, then fear must be an illusion. The miracle will come and search fear out showing him that he is no stranger now. Christ's vision sees no strangers. We offer thanks that Christ has come to search the world for what belongs to Him. They see him as a stranger because they do not recognize themselves. As they welcome Him they remember and are led home again. No one forgets Christ. Accept the gift of sight and clearly recognize your Self. His home is remembered and salvation comes.

Lesson 161

"Give me your blessing, holy Son of God."

Take a stand against your anger and let your fears disappear, making room for love. This is the answer to temptation. Salvation is here in simple words, where Christ takes the place of fear and anger. Heaven is now restored and Atonement made complete. The mind invents the partial world you see because it sees only abstractions and fractions of the whole. The purpose of all seeing and all hearing is to show you what you want to see and hear. Specifics were made by this and we use them in practicing. We give these to the Holy Spirit so He may use them for a different purpose from the one we gave to them. He teaches us from a different viewpoint so we may see a different use in everything. Since every mind is one, every mind contains all minds. Select one brother who symbolizes all brothers as ask salvation of him so that he may set you free.

"Give me your blessing, holy Son of God,
I would behold you with the eyes of Christ,
And see my perfect sinlessness in you."

This thought is a safe place away from anger and fear. Use it when you may be tempted to attack a brother and see him as a symbol of your fear. Suddenly your perception of him will be transformed from evil to good, enemy to savior.
