Most of the world's supply of Citrine comes from Brazilian of Rio Grande do Sul, whose Serra and Ira mines produce a combined 400 kilos per month of hammered goods. Other sources include, France, Madagascar and Russia. Deposits in the United States are in North Carolina, Colorado and California.
