Young children or babies should only use 1/2 to 1 ear candle per ear. If more are needed, use them in a repeat session at a later time, no sooner than 24 hours. For adults 2 to 4 ear candles per ear in one candling session is maximum. Do not exceed 4 ear candles per ear, as this can cause irritation in the ear canal. Use more after 24 hours have gone by if needed.
