What Is Satsang?

"Satsang" is a Sanskrit word meaning "gathering in truth." The Universal Church of Metaphysics offers free video satsangs through the Internet.

What are Affirmations?

Affirmations are words of power that have a healing effect on those who use them. Words truly do have the power to heal, and they can change your life. The Universal Church of Metaphysics invites you to explore the spiritual healing power of affirmations.

The Quantum Connection

“If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear as it is. Infinite.”
—William Blake

The Institute of Noetic Sciences is a Metaphysical think tank/retreat center located on 200 acres in Petaluma, California. They put out a study guide to go with the movie “What The Bleep Do We Know." The guide gives some great information on the history of the paradigm shift from classical physics to quantum physics “in a nutshell.” (By the way, we are still in the midst of this shift!)

From the study guide, we learn that the basic foundational ideas in classical physics are the “four basic assumptions about the fabric of reality that correspond more or less to how the world appears to our senses.” They are:

  1. Reality: The assumption that the physical world is “objectively real…that it exists independently of whether anyone is observing it…”
  2. Locality: The assumption that objects occupy a fixed position in space, and “can [only] be influenced through direct contact.”
  3. Causality: The assumption that the “arrow of time points only in one direction…that cause and effect sequences occur only in that order.”
  4. Continuity: The assumption that “space and time are smooth…” with no gaps or jumps occurring.

This view of reality was rocked when it was discovered that light could act like particles, “…like billiard balls…separate objects with specific locations in space;” or like waves, similar to “undulations in water…not localized but spread out…soft in that they can interact with each other without destroying each other.” With the acceptance of the mysterious wave/particle phenomenon of atoms, a new set of foundational “rules” emerged to attempt to explain this fantastic discovery of the nature of the building blocks of matter. The shift from the “four basic assumptions” follows:

  1. Reality: The idea that “things” exist in a concrete way, independent of conscious awareness, can no longer be assumed. We now know that the nature of matter can change when observed.
  2. Locality: The idea that objects have a fixed position in space, and can only be affected by direct contact, gave way to the understanding of non-locality, which says that “objects that are apparently separate are actually connected instantaneously through space-time.”
  3. Causality: The idea that time exists as a linear dimension is now known to be a misunderstanding, and that we could more accurately say “sequences of events [or the lack of…] depend on the perspectives (technically called the frame of reference) of the observers.”
  4. Continuity: The idea that space and time are predictable and simply defined is no longer viable; we now know that “reality” is not the stable construct we once assumed it was, and that “space and time are neither smooth nor contiguous.”

Quantum physics has now proven that everything we see is an illusion, that the physical world is an illusion…Everything is made up of interacting energy. Energy interacts on a subatomic level to form energy fields which physicists call subatomic particles. These subatomic energy fields interact to form atomic energy fields, atoms, which interact to form molecules. Everything in the physical world is made up of interacting atomic and molecular energy fields.
—Robert Burney, The Dance Of Wounded Souls (1995) Joy To You And Me Enterprises, Cambria, CA

There is a huge paradigm shift occurring in human consciousness, at this moment, as the stable, safe, dependable, predictable world we once inhabited, is falling away like the leaves on a tree in the fall, while the spring of understanding, the dawn of humanity’s realization of the magical, mysterious, fantastic nature of creation is blossoming in the minds and hearts of men and women all over the planet. We may have to winter in the void, but our awakening in spring will reveal a brand new world, our conscious creation!

As this information becomes available, through both pathways, science and direct knowing, these two, once separate paths are coming together. As these parallels merge, much energy is being released, and we experience this in the seemingly extreme polarities on the planet right now, extreme weather, increases in violence and cruelty toward others, destruction of the delicate ecosystem, and an increase in disease and illness. All these extreme negative energies are coming to the surface, while at the same time, amazing and beautiful revolutions of heart and mind are awakening as well. The seemingly “negative” occurrences are a symptom of this merging of parallels, as these once deeply buried aggressions and stuck thoughtforms and emotional energies are purged from the planet. As we bring our attention to the growing wave of awakening consciousness, as we realize what we are truly capable of, as we connect with the truth of “who we are,” we are, each and every one of us, experiencing the affects of these merging parallels in our own lives. This is the place to begin to mend, within.

The many forms of vibrational healing can be effective ways of facilitating this shift, integrating our experiences, as we wake up more and more to the fact that we have one foot in this world and one foot in the next, as we recognize the truth of our own multidimensionality. Through the use of the universal languages of color, light, sound, aroma, crystals, living plant energies, homeopathics, direct transmissions of information and resonances, and other vibrational communications, we can align ourselves with this shift, and move through it with grace and clarity.
