What Is Satsang?

What are Affirmations?

Affirmations are words of power that have a healing effect on those who use them. Words truly do have the power to heal, and they can change your life. The Universal Church of Metaphysics invites you to explore the spiritual healing power of affirmations.

RATING THE IMPORTANCE OF VARIOUS GOALS TO ME

Write a list of goals. After each goal, rate from 1-7 according to how important that goal is to you at this point in your life:

  1. “I don't care if this happens or not.”
  2. “I do care about this, but only very little”
  3. “This is not very important to me.”
  4. “This is moderately important to me”
  5. “This is very important to me.”
  6. “There are only a few things more important to me.”
  7. “This is one of the very most important goals in my life.”

Here are a few goals that you might have, but add your own:

  1. Have enough money for basic needs.
  2. Be seen as attractive in my looks, dress, and grooming.
  3. Have a good relationship with my father.
  4. Have good emotional health.
  5. See my children turn out well.
  6. Have good bodily health.
  7. Have a satisfactory leisure life.
  8. Have a satisfactory sex life.
  9. Have a good relationship with my children.
  10. Get enough education.
  11. Have a nice car.
  12. Have enough good friends.
  13. Have enough money to do the things I want.
  14. Have others feel that I am a worthwhile person to have around.
  15. Have a good relationship with my mother.
  16. Have a nice house or apartment.
  17. At the end of my life, be able to say it was good that I lived.
  18. Get married and have a good relationship with my spouse.
  19. Obtain a good job and keep my job.
  20. Have a good relationship with my other close relatives.
