Introduction

"Imagine that you are sitting in your chair, and next to your chair is a box, a pretty good-sized box. And you know that you are a creator, and that this box is your creation; it is your world, so to speak. And you are like a giant, sitting here on this big chair, and you have the ability to reach out anywhere in this physical universe and pluck whatever you want and drop it into the box. So you bring a beautiful house, and you put it in a city that pleases you. And you bring a means of income for you, and your mate. You bring all the things you like to do, the beautiful things that you find here and there, feelings of elation and feelings of sensuality, and all of these things that you want, and drop these things in to your creation box." Esther & Jerry Hicks (The teaching of Abraham) say in their book Ask And It is Given: Learning To Manifest Your Desires (2004). You too can have a magical life where all your wishes come true. You have the magic wand already. All you need to do is harness the power of your mind to bring your wishes to you. Think it, feel it, believe it and be open to receive it.

Manifesting is the ability to create what you want in your life. Like a magnet, the energy of your thoughts and emotions draw things, people and experiences to you. Whatever you focus on, negative or positive, will by the Law of Attraction come into your life. The mind is very powerful and has no boundary. Manifesting is a creative process of deliberate creating consciously. The essential key to manifesting is to focus on the results and not the problem. If you focus on what you do not want, the energy of your thoughts and emotions will bring it to you. You are constantly creating whether you realize it or not. Robert Anthony, in Know How To Be Rich (2005) says, "What you think equals what you feel and what you feel equals how you vibrate and how you vibrate equals what you attract. Your life will not change because you know what to do. It will change when you do what you know."

Manifestation is creating what you want when you want it. You have the power, you have the dynamic, you just need the determination. Look into your inner self, feel the spiritual pull of the energy magick, of the mindlight. Clinical manifestation is said to be a disease, something that someone who is sick has, but it's not. Use imagery to create the miracle of quantum thought, experience the epiphany of the secret that you can manifest within yourself.

Law Of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is the Law of Cause and Effect. What you put out is what you get back. The more you don't like something the more you get. The law says that if you are feeling something you are sending a message that says, "Give me more of what I say is so for me. The same energy that creates the infinite cosmos flows through us and gives birth to where we flow that energy. As we see, observe, ponder, imagine, envision, focus upon or pay attention to anything, we begin the law of attraction to draw to us those things." Marelin the Magician wrote an article entitled, The Physics Of Law Of Attraction In Action (http://www.wizardwonderland.com), "Who we are is always about what we want, and love to have in our experience. We can have anything our heart desires, but the Law says that we must give it to ourselves first. Creativity is never about things coming to us, they come to us through our creativity." This law shows us how powerful we are. We have the power to change the world but first must be willing to change ourselves.

Hicks says, "Deliberate creation is not about the condition changing and then you're finding a better feeling in response to the changed condition. Deliberate creation is about choosing a thought that feels good when you choose it, which then causes the condition to change. For example, unconditional love is really about wanting so much to remain in connection with your source of love that you deliberately choose thoughts that allow your connection, no matter what manifestations may be happening nearby. And when you are able to control your point of attraction by deliberately choosing better feeling thoughts, the conditions that surround you have to change. The law of attraction says that they must...By paying attention to the way you feel, you can easily know if you are giving your attention to your desire or if you are giving it to the absence of your desire."

When your thoughts are a vibrational match to your desire, you feel good. Your emotional range would be from contentment to expectation to eagerness to joy. However, if you are giving your attention to the lack, or absence of your desire your emotions would range from feelings of pessimism to worry to discouragement to anger to insecurity to depression. As you become consciously aware of your emotions, you will always know how you are doing with the allowing part of your creative process, and you'll never again misunderstand why things are turning out the way they are. Your emotions provide a wonderful guidance system for you, and if you will pay attention to them, you'll be able to guide yourself to anything that you desire.

Negative Vibration

The Law of Attraction can be put in very simple terms: happy vibrations attract happy circumstances, and yucky vibrations attract yucky circumstances. The big challenge to overcome is our negative thinking. It is an indoctrination. Our environment has taught us to look for what's wrong with everything. Negative thinking is a habit that is learned that projects into the future and limits what you want to create. The things that you worry about and fear become your experience because your thoughts and feelings are vibrating to bring you more of it. Beliefs are "practiced vibrations." Once you have had a thought long enough, the law of attraction takes you easily into that vibration. It becomes your set point and will bring a match to that vibration. Consciousness creates reality. No matter what is created, consciousness creates it.

The things we don't want can be disguised as a want, such as "I want to get well" or "I want to lose weight." These statements are focused on the lack of not having what you want. When you think of what you don't want, you are going to attract it or it's going to attract you. Lyn Grabhorn says in her book Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting (2000), "Negative vibrations occur when we refuse to allow ourselves to think about what makes us happy. Negative vibrations come from living with don't wants. We cannot be thinking about what we don't want and expect to get what we do want." The key to receiving your heart's desire is to find a way to feel good about it. Desire comes from excitement. Need is from fear. When you know what you want, begin to feel what it feels like to already have it and stay out of the place of not having it. Grabhorn writes, "Dare to want whatever in this whole wide world will give you pleasure. Wanting is taking charge. Wanting is creating. Wanting and manifesting those wants into reality is fulfilling your reason for being and therein lies the true richness of life. Never, ever accept reality as something to which you must resign yourself." Whatever is currently happening in your life is a result of the past and how you have flowed your energy.

The energy of needing something to change holds it to you, for it is in the negative energy flow. The goal is to bring in the energy of excitement about what it will be changing into. This is flowing in the positive and gets the desired results you want to create. Focus on the feeling of having your desires, open yourself up to believe you can have it, and then answers and opportunities will come. See the value of knowing the things that you don't want for it will help you to know what you do want. See what can be rather than what is. Jump into the wonderful feelings of how fantastic it will be when you are there. Shift your energy, state your desire to the universe and feel the gentle inner smile on the inside of gratitude. When you feel stuck in the negative, fake the feeling of what it might be like to have your desire. "Fake it ‘til you make it" is applicable to manifesting.

The theory of The Law of Attraction says that in order to be content in sound, mind, body and sensor, we must let go of any negative vibration that might cloud our thought and replace it with positive vibration. If you find yourself being pulled into a negative space, use isolation exercise to control and raise your body vibration, clearing your thought world of any undue stress. This type of therapy is beneficial to the whole body. By manifesting a desired reality, one can use this sort of testing of the body as a platform for meditation.

Gratitude

Flow the intense energy of appreciation for just one minute. That cancels out thousands of hours spent in victim mode. Gratitude is the fastest way to having what you want. When you are grateful, the universe dutifully creates more things for you to be grateful for, since that is the vibration you are resonating at. If you are ungrateful, the universe will provide more reasons to be ungrateful. Remember, physical reality is a machine of sorts that responds to your consciousness. It doesn't care what you create. It is simply a reflection machine. Gratitude has been proven time and time again to be a most effective method for creating a beautiful life. Below is what a few authors say about gratitude:

Lynn Grabhorn continues to say in her book Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting (2000), The vibration of appreciation is the most profoundly important frequency we can hold, for it is the closest thing to cosmic love that exists. When we're appreciating we're in perfect vibrational harmony with our source energy or God energy... Appreciation is the fastest and highest vibration we can use for attraction. If we would shoot appreciation at anything and everything all day long we'd be guaranteed to have heaven on earth in no time, living happily ever after with more friends, more money, more beautiful relationships in total safety and closer to the God of our Being than it's possible to fathom.

Esther Hicks says in her book Ask And It Is Given (2004), Appreciation and self-love are the most important aspects you could ever nurture. Appreciation of others and the appreciation of yourself are the closest vibrational matches to source energy of anything we have ever witnessed anywhere in this Universe... The more you practice appreciation, the less resistance you will have in your own vibrational frequencies and the less resistance you have, the better your life will be.

Wayne Dyer says in Manifest Your Destiny (1997), Gratitude is your expression of acknowledging the oneness of the universal energy working in cooperation with your desires... It is an absence of feeling alienated or separate. It represents our full acknowledgment and appreciation of the energy flowing through all things, and brings gifts to us in the form of the fulfillment of our desires... The nature of gratitude is the complete and full response of the human heart to everything in the universe... When your heart is filled with gratitude, it is grateful for everything and cannot focus on what is missing... When your attention is on your scarcity, you are telling the universal spirit that you need more and are not grateful for all that you have... Gratitude is a way of experiencing the world with love rather than judgment. Taking things for granted means going through life unaware of the multitude of gifts that are here in each and every moment. Change an attitude of ingratitude by imagining, just for a moment, how empty your life would be without those blessings."

An abundance of gratitude is a blessing which everyone can receive. Open your mind to the manifestation of simple things in life: love, power, grace, spirit, gratitude inspiration and you'll feel a radical awakening begin manifesting itself within you. A positive attitude is the best healing for the soul. By keeping an awakening evolutionary journal, you can manifest the inspiration to help others keep their own gratitude journals. Creating

Creating is your birthright. It is what you do. You can't help but create. You create without even knowing that you are creating! You create through thinking and feeling. It is impossible not to create something. Since you are always thinking and feeling, you are always creating. If you can be conscious of what you are creating, perhaps better choices can be made. Here are a couple things authors have said about creating:

Esther Hicks says, "You are a creator; you create with your every thought. You often create by default, for you are getting what you are giving your attention to... In the same way that sculptors mold clay into the creation that pleases them, you created by the holding energy. You mold it through your power of focus by thinking about things, remembering things, and imagining things. You focus the energy when you speak, when you write, when you listen, when you are silent, when you remember and when you imagine, you focus it through the projection of thought...There is never a reason for you to be without something that you desire. Nor is there ever a reason for you to experience something that you do not desire for you hold absolute control of your experiences."

We posses the sacred ability to create our passions with simple intent. Sanaya Roman says, "You can change your reality by rewriting the past... Each time you make an important decision, you determine what future you create for yourself... As you change your past in your mind, you change your vibration and begin to draw to yourself a new future. If you want to be smarter, more creative, or more loved, imagine a past in which you were. It doesn't matter if this was your real past; your subconscious mind doesn't know the difference. It will draw circumstances to you that match your imagined past...Choose what information and situations you agree with and want as your truth. What you accept as your truth will create your reality... Instead of accepting others' opinions of reality, say, ‘I choose my reality.'"

"Manifesting is not about making demands of God and the universe. Manifesting is a cooperative venture in which your intention is aligned with Divine intelligence, that intelligence is in all things and in you simultaneously... You are not separate from that which you would like to manifest. It is you, you are it. There is only one power in the universe, and you are connected to the power. Demanding that God send your desire according to your timetable and design reinforces the incorrect idea of God as a separate energy."

When we realize that we are the source of everything we want, we are self realized. We find that God is not separate from ourselves, but rather, God is inside us, living our lives vicariously through our experiences. We are this God that we have prayed to, believing it to be outside of ourselves. However, if we really think about it, we should pray to ourselves for what we want, for it comes from within, rather than from somewhere outside of us. We are expressions of God itself, and there is no separation.

Being unhappy with who you are in a relationship can have many negative affects on your whole life. You could begin to feel pressure from your mate or start to feel disconnected from your children, which is a major price to pay for a couple creating stress within a household. Parental needs are just as important as a child's needs. Choosing to become a balance being rather than a chaotic being is a major step in bridging the gap between you and your partner or future partner. If you can match principle for principle with your significant other, then you have a definite advantage creating happiness within a home. Keepsakes are a good way to bring back good memories, but do not put too much emotion or effort into material belongings. We have been taught, generation after generation, that it is a privilege to love somebody and be loved in return. By allowing our desire habit to manifest into something good, we can take steps to loving ourselves and, in turn, loving others.

Worthiness To Receive

Wayne Dyer says, "Feeling worthy is essential to being able to attract your desire... Feeling worthy of any blessings or desire is a feature of your inner life. To remove the stigma of materialistic selfishness you may need to rearrange your inner perceptions. It is simply a matter of changing your mind about your basic worthiness to receive all of God's blessings, be they material or otherwise....Your biography becomes your biology and your biology becomes your lack of spiritual fulfillment..."

Dyer makes the point that telling others your stories of woe reinforces a self image of the unfortunate victim, the consequence of which is to keep you from advancing spiritually. The reliving of pain every time you repeat unpleasant events perpetuates the body's weaknesses and prevents healing. You cultivate an image of being unworthy and maligned, and this is what is sent out into the universe. The energy created will inhibit you from attracting love and bliss into your life. By accepting forgiveness you fill yourself with love, and, conversely, that is the energy you offer the universe. You radiate that love outward to all when you let go of the venom and resentments that were engendered by the behaviors that caused the wounds. In this way, forgiveness is a spiritual act of love for yourself as part of the whole. The impact on your life will be to free you to give with love as your motivation, as well as receive

The power and wonder of life can be seen in many different ways. By keeping your mind open anything, you will be more prone to seeing the things that really define who we are. Ask and you shall receive.

Detaching From The Outcome

Do not place time constraints on your manifesting. Simply go about your life and know the outcome. That is the secret to patience. Trust allows you to turn thoughts away from focusing on the lack of having what you want. Impatience devalues our connection to the divine Holy Spirit. Wayne Dyer writes in Manifest Your Destiny (1997), "Impatience implies that our ego is the boss of desire... Infinite patience produces almost immediate results in your life... You become free when you relax your insistence to have it now, and you increase your awareness that you actually do have it now, already, even though it may not have shown up as you would like it in your immediate surroundings."

Steps For Detaching From The Outcome:

  1. Understand the essence of what you desire.
  2. Banish the doubts and enter into the realm of certainty.
  3. Leave your expectations and go about your business.
  4. Maintain privacy about your desires.
  5. Be aware of the cues when your desires are manifesting.
  6. Act immediately on the cues that arrive acknowledging them.
  7. View any and all obstacles as lessons and not indications of failure.
  8. Release all judgment from your manifestation practice.
  9. Learn to relax in peace and knowing.
  10. Use affirmations to keep the energy flowing and to detach from the outcome.

In order to get the outcome you want in life, you need to take a mental evaluation of all things that impact you. Are they positive? Do you structure your way of life around productivity quantity rather than productivity quality? Do you measure happiness in nickels and dimes? By learning about and understanding these things, you can make a positive assessment of how to take charge and lead a healthy, happy life. The relationship that you have with yourself is important as well. Predicting how our choices will affect us in the future is impossible, but we can help ourselves to make the right choices by using certain types of therapy. Meditation is a popular choice, easily altered to fit the individual. Time management may be a factor for some, a reason not to participate in such therapies. What you really need to ask yourself is this: Is your health outcome important to you? What about education outcome? These are all things are influenced by the choices that you make.

Relationships

In creating meaningful relationships you have to look at what are you vibrating by how you are feeling. If you are feeling anything other than peace with yourself and appreciation of your partner, then your vibrations will be chipping away at your union. You are attracting negatively if you are disapproving, accusing or blaming. If you feel misunderstood, neglected or trapped you are attracting more of the same. If you try to rescue, please or placate you are also attracting negatively. When you focus on what is not working in your relationship you are holding the partner in that vibration. The energy of blame is the culprit and always makes a bad situation worse.

Unconditional love is keeping open no matter what the other person has done. All you have to do is stop focusing on it. You don't have to like it or change it. It is a freeing feeling when you can begin to experience life despite the actions of others. You no longer have a need to blame others for the way you feel. You no longer need others to behave in a certain way in order to be happy. You realize that you don't need everything to be perfect for your love to flow. Forgiveness is a releasing of your resistance to positive energy, it is not about the other person. The first step in forgiving is releasing the resistance to feeling better.

When you are concerned about someone else and feel sorry for his or her predicament you join in the lack he or she feels. You have matched the vibration and that holds other people there. The following story is an example of this concept. A woman was worried about her depressed father and was sending him healing thoughts. In her own sadness about him she was seeing him in a pathetic way. He did not improve but continued to decline. She learned that she was doing the opposite of her intention when she learned about the law of attraction. She began to visualize him filled with vitality and fun, playing sports. She melted into the joy of the feeling of wholeness.

The miracle part of the story is that her father called her three days later telling her he felt better than he had in years! She had offered the new vibration and he chose to accept it. Look for ways to praise and appreciate and you will be a catalyst for attracting for yourself and everyone around you. The vibration comes from how you are feeling. You are a creator. If you see people letting you down, you will vibrate to that reality where it happens. This doesn't mean that others will act the way you want them to, but by holding the picture of their higher self you invite the possibility to them as to how they might act if they expressed their potential.

You can empower your friends by taking opportunities to draw their higher vision out of them and helping them describe it and encouraging them to create it. A beautiful way to relate to others is by connecting to your higher self and their higher self and ask for a greater good to come to both of you. See the other person's divinity and allow him or her to be just as he or she is. Speak and act in ways that empower the other person. You can empower others by helping them to see the gifts in what they are experiencing by getting them to focus on all the gifts that their problems are offering.

It's basic human intelligence that in order to make love work, you need to be in a healthy relationship, in all ways. These days, dating is made harder and harder by partners who are verbally abusive, uneducated people who think they can give relationship management or relationship advice and sometimes even long distance relationships. Any man woman or child can tell you that both partners need to be willing to work hard at a relationship to make it work, to keep the health in a stress-free state. There are many things online that propose to be able to help with relationships: you can take a quiz to see if you and your mate are compatible, you can write "Ask Joan" to help with a problem that you and your mate are having. There are even tips on how to rescue a failing relationship. But without the motivation on both ends to make it work, it never will.

Illness

Physical health is related to mental health. Mental health and emotional health are intertwined. Illness is negative energy choking off the flow of life. The vibration of thoughts go through the body. Thoughts also affect emotions. The combination of negative thoughts and emotions weaken the cells, putting the body out of balance, opening it up to disease, illness and injury. Ill people have closed off to their source and have allowed in worry, blame and guilt. Every illness is reversible. Norman Cousins knew he had to change the frequencies in his body in order to heal. He read funny books, watched funny movies and cured himself completely of cancer.

When you have an accident, go back in your mind and find the thoughts, concerns or issues that were coming up right before the accident. The body's wisdom is giving you a message. Notice the negative thoughts and change it to a positive one. Cancer is not the cause of death. It is the lack of life force that comes through blame, fear or anger that breeds the disease. Instead of talking about your illness, start talking about how your body is healing. Hold yourself and your loved ones in a healing space, focusing on how fantastic it feels to be vibrant and whole.

To be well inside we must be well outside. We must surround ourselves with life lifting experiences. Studies in mental neurobiology have shown that condition illness, chronic illness, critical illness, manic depressive, depressive illness mental type illness and many others can be cured simply by encasing yourself with things that make you happy. Studies in sociology have shown that children with terminal illnesses have an easier time dealing with them when they have access to happy movies or books, things that take their minds off of the illness.

Money

The word with the highest negative vibration in every language is "money!" It is highly charged with beliefs of struggle, musts and should's. These beliefs are learned even before we are born. The vibrations are absorbed from our parents into the womb. We feel the anxiety around this word and develop a limiting belief that keeps us in the lack of flow in attracting abundance. Don Quixote says, "The greatest adversary we shall ever confront in life will be this thing we call money, the dragon against which we must war unto death."

When you hear the word money, if your first thought is "not enough" then you are in the vibration of lack and you will be sure to get even more of not enough. Statements like, "money is hard to come by," "you have to work hard," "money is the root of all evil," "I won't be happy until I have more" are common beliefs that prevent abundance from coming into our lives. Instead of focusing on the paper stuff, feel the excitement of what you will do with the money. Use your imagination to feel, taste, smell and touch the things you would do with the money. Focus on the experience of what you desire to use the money for. Do this for thirty days for fifteen minutes a day. Grabhorn says, "The money will come when you stop looking at how much of it you don't have. Decide what you will do with it first. The energy of money needs outlets, no outlets, no money. Be open to receive! Put this sign all over your house and place your intent on lowering your resistance to should's and shouldn'ts."

These days, it's hard to make money. Money doesn't grow on trees, you don't get it for free; you have to earn it, and it isn't easy. The money market is full of internet making millionaire who are in the business of trying to run your life in exchange for fast money. It's mad, unclaimed territory, easy to get lost in, and the exchange rates only make it all the more difficult.

Thoughts & Emotions

There was a study done in the thirties by two men in the Orient who were attempting to prove that thoughts were real things and that different kinds of thoughts create different kinds of vibrations. They wanted to photograph vibrations of thoughts. They were successful. They were even able to photograph thoughts right through steel walls. The technology they used for this is somewhat unclear, as there is very little public information about how they conducted their experiments, but their experiments were recreated by others later in time and these people also had similar results. Most importantly, they were able to prove that the more emotion the thinker charged his thoughts with, the clearer the picture of the vibration turned out to be. They proved that there is magnetic energy attached to our thoughts, and that thought is propelled by our emotions. We are literally walking magnets pulling in everything at the same frequency or wavelength that we are feeling. We are electromagnetic beings tripping around with this mind-boggling capacity to magnetize into our lives whatever in the world we desire by controlling the feelings that come from our thoughts. With intent, we can manifest our desires and bring love into the process.

The manifesting process starts with the thought and then the emotion. Thoughts and emotions work together to manifest reality. Thought acts like a magnet attracting like substances that match the same vibration. The emotions energize the thoughts and propel them from an inner to outer world. Your emotions and intent determine how fast you get what you are thinking about. An important part is to feel worthy and deserving of what you desire. Next is the intent, which is a steady focus on what you are creating. Third is to trust and believe that it is already on its way and simply allow it to come with gratitude.

Positive thoughts do not launch the magnetic vibration. It is the feeling and the intensity of the emotion that is the "magic genie." Here is an example: say you want a new car and you have been thinking about it for years. Then you see your dream car in front of you on the road and you feel envy because you can't afford it. You feel discouraged instead of all jazzed up. This is exactly why it is not your car. You have focused on lack instead of the joy of having. Thus you have attracted a lack of your desire. Wishing, longing and hoping come from a place of discouragement, a pessimistic belief that you probably will never have what you want. Instead, feel excited and happy that you are in the presence of your dream car. See yourself driving your dream car and feel how it feels to drive it. Focus on the joy of having your car.

Here is the formula to getting your dream. First identify what you don't want (you don't want to be without your car any more.) Then identify what you do want. After that, feel what you want. Then allow it to happen, pay attention to signs in reality that it is coming, and listen and expect it to be so. Start appreciating this new life instead of yearning for it. There is no need to worry over how you will pay for it, for that is not your job. The universe will provide the way, many times in a very unexpected way. It is the feeling that comes from our thoughts that turns the vibration into a high frequency magnet. You are the creator of your life. You create with your thoughts, emotions, intent and belief. Out of this flows your vibration that brings people, objects, circumstances and events. Your thinking is planning your future. If you are worrying, you are planning more of what you don't want. If you are appreciating then you are planning your heart's desire to manifest quickly. Daily inspirational thought can come from anything that you enjoy: school, work, play, family, friend. Love and understanding are all that is needed to be happy. A new outlook on life can heal damaged emotion, healing any type of emotion in the process. Look beyond anger and hate; seek new, positive things. Share an encouraging "thought for the day" with someone close to you and brighten up their day.

Steps To Manifesting What You Want

From Manifesting What You Want:

First create the mental environment. If you want to create abundance, first you must examine your beliefs about money. For example you may have a belief that rich people are greedy or poor people are more caring. You must neutralize and disperse old ideas about money before you can magnetize it in your life. Use affirmations to reprogram yourself for abundance. Discover the essence of what you will receive by having more abundance. Dream of what you will use the money for or what you think it will give you; such as time, play, joy, freedom, friends, security, and so on. Live the essence of already having it before it comes to you and that will act as a magnetic force. Focus only on the positive and not on the negative. Do not be attached to the form it comes in. Wear and radiate the energy of success of seeing yourself at the finish line. Repeat to yourself, "I am successful" Write your intention and affirm it daily. Practice every day wearing the new energies in your cellular structure, down to the atomic level. Create new habits in your mental and emotional body. Flow into an attitude of gratitude. What you appreciate, you get more of. It is the highest vibration.

Wayne McDonald in his article How To Create Gold From Water (2005) states "To change the world around us, we must be willing to change our self first...It only takes ten to twenty minutes a day to visualize and create a new reality. Sit quietly and clear your mind and picture yourself utilizing all your senses. Continue breathing, relaxing, and smile to yourself. Get your emotions charged up so you can really feel and sense this picture. Next create a positive affirmation for yourself and say this affirmation to yourself ten times a day. For the next twenty-one days, read and speak aloud your affirmation."

The most important thing to remember in sharpening your manifesting skills is to first become aware of your energy. Redirect any negativity that you feel by just breathing it out and ask for inner guidance around negativity and blocks. Focus on what you love, then amplify the positive feeling. Tune into and feel those positive feelings. Surround yourself with people and things that you love. Close your eyes and see the things that bring you tremendous joy. Trust your process. Trust that everything is unfolding as it is meant to. Trust, that if you do your job, which is to clear out the negativity plug and follow through on what you get from the inside, the universe will impart it.

The best time to work on creating your new reality is right before you fall asleep. Visualize the next day as the perfect day and imagine waking up full of energy. These thoughts go forward into the future and connect with you the next day.

Sanaya Roman Spiritual Growth (1989)

The purpose of this of meditation is to connect with the universal mind and bring something you want. Focus on what you want to create. See your mental aura as a gridwork of light, extending upward. Send your awareness up through this gridwork and imagine linking with the higher aspects of the universal mind, which is All-That-Is, also called God. Meet with what you want to create in its energy state, and imagine what comes. Then make it more beautiful. Draw it in and turn it to subatomic particles of light that you harmonize with and bring into your being. Think of a specific thing you want, something that is the definite object or thing.

  1. Imagine a gridwork of light around your head, extending straight upward into the higher dimensions. The higher it goes, the finer and more beautiful the gridwork becomes. Send your awareness up along this gridwork and imagine you are leaving your earth reality and going into the world of the essence that is the universal mind.
  2. See yourself meeting with the unmanifest energy of what you want to create. Use your imagination to picture it. Does it have a pattern of color? Can you sense or feel it? Can you make it into a symbol?
  3. Make the image more flowing, open, and harmonious. Enhance it even more, perhaps adding color, fragrance, and beautiful sounds. Make its colors and its patterns more beautiful. Make it a size that feels good. Imagine that the unmanifest energy of what you are creating is alive and let it interact with you. Now add light to it. If you're working with a symbol, interact with the symbol.
  4. You are now ready to bring this into your physical world. Let the energy of what you want change into subatomic particles of light. Create the particles with as high a vibration as you can imagine. As you changed its energy into particles of light, see it crossing from the world of essence into your world of form. Let these particles of light begin to coalesce. Imagine them having a shape and mass as they come together.
  5. Open your heart to receive these light particles that represent the energy of what you want. Greet them with love and embrace them as you draw them toward you.
  6. Bring these sub atomic light particles into your DNA located in the center of every cell. Feel the light particles penetrating all your DNA, which are encoded with your life's program. Imagine your DNA are now cooperating to bring this thing into your life and its highest, most enlightened form. The light particles of this thing are harmonizing with your life through your DNA so that it comes to you easily and fits into every part of your life.
  7. Radiate light particles of what you want from your DNA into all your cells, and then to your emotions and mind.
  8. Pretend you already have this thing in your life. How do you feel now that you have it? Imagine you are creating a time and space for it. How much space does it take? How close in time are you putting it?
  9. Thank what you want in advance for coming. Affirm that you are ready to have it in your life. Be ready to receive it and recognize it when it comes. As you return to the room feel your new connection to this thing you are bringing into your life.

Manifesting Exercise 4

Sanaya Roman, Spiritutal Growth (1997)

The purpose of this exercise is to create the reality of your awakened heart, where you live a life that is loving to you and your dreams come true.

  1. Relax, take deep breaths and get in tune with your higher self. As your higher self, create a vision of your life as you would like it to be in several years. Let yourself feel the good feelings having this reality will give you. Start with your relationships by imagining all of them bringing you love and joy. Think of your job, financial situation, health, spiritual life, recreation, social activities, energy, lifestyle, and the place you would like to live. What would you love to do during the day? Allow yourself to daydream and fantasize about a life that is loving and nurturing to you. Picture the world as you would like to be such as a clean environment, peaceful world, and so on. As you picture these things, you vibrate with the reality in which they happen.
  2. After you have created a vision of your ideal life, imagine you are working with this vision as unmanifested energy. Create this higher probable reality as energy, making your ideal life into energy that is as beautiful, light filled, and harmonious as you can imagine. You may want to make a symbol of it and play with the symbol.
  3. Bring the energy of your highest probable future into your DNA. Let it change your frequency and vibration of the cellular level so that you are vibrating with this higher reality. Radiate this energy through your body, emotions, and mind.
  4. Imagine several years have passed, and you are now your future self who lives in this higher probable reality. From the perspective of your future self, what is your life like? Describe your circumstances and how you feel. Speak of the future in present tense. For instance, say to yourself, "I now have             ," as you describe life as your future self.
  5. As your future self, send energy back through time to assist you in getting to this reality even more easily. Ask your future self if it has a message for you.
  6. When you're finished, slowly come back into the room, bringing a sense of this new reality with you.

For thirty days, three times per day, imagine and feel what you want to have in your life. Imagine yourself already having it and feel what your emotional tone is like. Wear this tone throughout the day as much as possible. Don't waver in any way. Stay consistent and don't let doubt undo what you are creating. Feel what it is like to already have it, and look for signs in your life that the essence of what you want is coming or already present.

Manifesting Simplified

I have found a simplified method of manifesting that really works. All the manifesting techniques you have read in this course up to this point are methods that are typically taught in metaphysical schools of thought. The affirming, the visualizing, the emotioning—these are mind powers. It is important to learn how mind powers work and observe the effects of how you consciously create in co-operation with physical reality. There is an easier way, however, and it has worked beautifully as far as creating a reality I enjoy.

By giving up all desire, all needs and wants, by letting go of all plans for the life, this is the highest sacrifice. It is necessary to do before one can truly be a vessel for the divine within, the eternal self. Imagine, just for a moment, letting go of all your dreams, including the dream of having all the money you have always wanted. Everything you ever wanted to own, everything you have ever wanted to be—let it all go. Now it is just an empty space to be filled by the plans of the divine within, the eternal self. It is not your life anymore. You are giving it over to the One Self to do with as it wishes.

At first this may seem like standing on a terrible precipice, a kind of death, and it is. It is the death of the human ego, the human condition. You may have had plans for quite some time, and you have struggled to reach them. Perhaps you have attained the level of material success you wanted, perhaps you attained the perfect relationship, perhaps you have even created the level of enlightenment you had hoped to achieve. All of these pale in comparison to what is actually available to you. The One Self, the eternal identity within you, can create a life that is beyond the human ego's imagination. If you can make the leap over that terrible precipice of giving up your plans and desires of the human self, if you can brave the leap into the unknown, a life you never imagined can unfold.

Even though this may seem unfathomable to give up your dreams and plans, if you can get past the fear of it for a moment, you will see how freeing it all is. Suddenly there is no more pressure, no more struggle. There is peace, finally. You'll notice a relaxation in your energy and you can breathe easy. The battle has finally ended. (The battle was against the negative human programming of consciousness that was creating the reality you didn't like.)

You cannot be suffering if you are in the present moment. You only suffer when you move into the past or the future, or wish to change the things you can't change about others. If you realize yourself as eternal being that never dies, can never be harmed, lives multitudes of lives, and is Godself dreaming, your life will reflect this rather than the human ego identity with its smaller dreams and imaginings. If your reality is a reflection of who you are, then just exactly what would eternal self look like in that reflection? By giving up your life to God, so to speak, and letting God do whatever is best for you, instead of you directing life the way you want it to go, you will venture into a different way of living. But how does one do this, exactly?

You have heard much about being in the now, staying in the present, and you might wonder how to do that exactly. It sounds simple enough, but over and over again we find ourselves anywhere besides the now. The key to being in the now is to stop. Stop everything. Stop the fantasies or fretting about the future, stop regretting the past or being nostalgic for the past, just stop. Stop the mind from going anywhere but here in this moment. No matter what, don't let the mind move. If you find yourself moving even slightly into the past or future for a moment, just stop. Don't even finish the thought or the cycle. Just stop. The mind is always moving. It is always strategizing, forming opinions about reality and other people, regretting mistakes in the past, and worrying about the future. The mind never stops moving. Even through your daily tasks, the mind is moving.

There is one way that you can know when God, eternal self, is shining through you. If you are in the present moment, fully engaged, without being affected by your future or your history, this is when you are being your true self, the larger identity you are, rather than the human condition. Being in the now is always where the eternal self is. That is what it is eternal, for it lives in the ever-unfolding now. Eternity is not just a "long time." It is the ever unfolding now.

It may be difficult for a beginner to stop the mind during meditation. Start by simply going about your daily tasks without moving the mind. While you are washing your dishes, weeding your garden, or driving your car, do it with a still mind. This is a great way to begin to learn what it is like to be in the present moment, the ever-unfolding now. While your mind is still, you will realize that you are quite alert and your consciousness is able to take in whatever is in the moment without forming opinions about it, coloring it with past experience, or strategizing about the future. Then you are free to be eternal self, witnessing a reality created by consciousness. As soon as you are aware that your mind has moved into the past or the future, or anywhere that is not in the present that is right in front of you, reel it back in and be here now. This is a habit that must be created, and the habit of moving out of the present must be broken.

Your awareness and awakeness will be quite heightened. You will be surprised to find how much you have been missing by thinking about so many things and being absent during the many wonderful moments that have happened in your life. While you are washing your dishes, notice the glint of light coming off the dishes, the warm, soft sensations of the soapy water, the rhythm of the task... While weeding your garden notice the warm smell of the earth, the beauty of the flowers, the connection with nature... When you are driving, notice the landscape, the environment, the sunset, the other cars, the sensation of moving so quickly through the air... There is so much to observe. When you realize you are actually becoming lucid in a dream, you will be amazed at the magical phenomena that reality is.

Try to be especially aware of the nature of your eternal identity while having conversations with people. If you are aware that you are dreaming, and you become lucid in that dream, you will notice much deeper levels of communication than just the words being said. You will notice a vibrancy to your reality that you never noticed before. Colors become more vibrant, you might notice the life-force within everything, and you will find that your heart is wide open and wise while your mind sits silent. True listening to another person can only happen if you are not moving in your own mind. Don't form opinions about what the other person is saying. Don't plan what you are going to say next. Just be awake and pay attention to what is happening in this phenomena called the Now. This is where you will find self-realization, happiness and fulfillment. Suddenly your life becomes more about how awake you can be in every moment than what level of material success is achieved.

Ironically, material success does come with being a fully awakened being. This does not mean great wealth for everyone, for not everyone wants to deal with the responsibilities of great wealth. However, the basic needs and the lifestyle that is comfortable to you will be a natural result of living in the now. The eternal self provides just the right amount that is right for each person. Some people are happy to be quiet Buddhists with a Spartan lifestyle while others have nice cars and houses. The individual version of the perfect reality is different for every person.

If you work with the mind this way for at least a month, you will see changes in your reality. You don't have to visualize anything. Just be open to allowing the divine to flow through you by staying in the present moment, and you will be telling the "reflection machine" that reality is to reflect something other than what the monkey mind has created. A still mind creates something quite different. What will happen is that "ah-ha!" moments will come with completed thoughts and plans already in motion rather than you formulating them. The next step to take into your future will always be quite evident in your ever-unfolding now. You will know just what to do in every moment, and it will always be the right thing. Even if you don't know what steps come next, just take the ones that present themselves to you. You will be living your life in the "magic zone" and you will always be walking the right path. Sometimes you do get glimpses of the future and what your eternal self is bringing to you (itself). However, be aware that these may morph and change as they develop. Don't hold on to those visions. Just allow them to move back into the background and know that they are coming. Stay open to whatever presents itself to you in the present.

If you do this exercise seriously, you may have a sudden "set change." Be ready for this if you are consistent about keeping your mind still everyday. The old reality may suddenly disintegrate and disappear. Your job may suddenly be over, your place where you live may suddenly change, or multitudes of other sudden changes can happen. This is a good sign that what you are doing is working!

Sometimes the set change takes place slowly. Be patient with this as well. It may take some time to stop the momentum of the reality you were previously creating. It may take even more diligence, perhaps even a year, of holding the mind still before the big things change. In the meantime, look for the little things that do change. You will find signs in your reality that your eternal self is becoming more present as the director of your life, rather than the human ego.

I must say, I did not imagine all that I am doing now. Somehow, the skills I have learned and the preferences I have about what I like to do have all come into play, as if they are taken into consideration in what the eternal self creates, but life is more rewarding than I had hoped it would be. I do like to imagine a wonderful day in service to the eternal self coming the next day before I go to sleep, and I like to fall asleep with warm, cozy emotions. I do feel that helps, but I don't spend time visualizing anymore, or affirming what it is I want. As the eternal self, it is just a natural occurrence that a pleasant life results. Rather, I affirm that I am in service to the divine and give myself to whatever the divine has planned for me, no matter what it is.

If this happens, just know that your new "reflection" is on its way to you. Don't become afraid while reality dismantles itself and re-coagulates. Be patient with the process and continue your practice of keeping the mind still, no matter what, and staying in the joy of the present moment. Joy is the surest sign of the presence of Godself.

Of course this can never be perfected in a single lifetime. I find that it is a process of ever-deepening the ability to remain present in the moment. It goes deeper and deeper. The more one becomes aware, the more that is observable in the present moment. You will notice things other people simply don't have awareness of. You will see deeper layers of reality than you did before. It is lucid dreaming, lucid living.

Simplify your manifesting process down to desiring one thing and one thing only: being the awake, wise, loving truth of who you really are in every moment. If this is your true desire and your focus, you will have an effortless life of wonder and beauty. Keep your mind still and stay out of the past and the future. Be here now and witness all the beautiful moments that are available to you that you may have been missing. Live each day as if it might be your last, and absorb all the beauty that your life already has. After all, you are luckier than many people on the planet who have less opportunities than you do, especially the opportunity to think about the higher things in life, the spiritual path, and the nature of reality. This is a truly lucky lifetime indeed! Enjoy it, even if you can only start with the small things. You will have greater beauties and joys to celebrate as you learn to hold the joy and peace of being in the present moment. This is manifesting made easy!

Conclusion

The recipe for creating anything is to collect all the good feelings, then bake them with varying degrees of emotion to increase magnetism. It only takes sixteen seconds of focused pure thought to link up vibrationally and voila, it is on its way to you. Nothing, absolutely nothing, comes to us by accident. It is drawn electromagnetically by our feelings. If you want to change your life, change the way you think about it. You attract as you vibrate. You can help others change by getting them to talk about what is right rather than what is wrong. You have the power to create your own utopia and have an extraordinary life filled with joyful living. Things do not have to change before you can be happy. Take time to dream, imagine, desire and flow energy. State your intention every day and get excited about it. I conclude with the following author quotes:

Hicks says in Ask And It Is Given (2004), "You are consciousness. You are energy. You are vibration. You are electricity. You are source. You are creator. You are the leading edge of thoughts... Nothing can occur in your life experience without your invitation of it through your thoughts. You are creative genius expressing here in this leading edge time space reality for the purpose of taking thought beyond that which it has ever been before... With your practiced attention to any subject, the law of attraction delivers circumstances, conditions, experiences, other people, and all manner of things that match your habitual dominant vibration. As things begin to manifest around you that match the thoughts you have been holding, you now develop stronger and stronger vibrational habits.

"Your once small and insignificant thought has now evolved into a powerful belief and your powerful beliefs will always be played out in your experience... The greatest gift that you could ever give to another is your own happiness, for when you are in a state of joy, happiness, or appreciation, you are fully connected to the stream of pure, positive source energy that is truly who you are. When you are in that state of connection, anything or anyone that you are holding as your object of attention benefits from your attention... It is the act of flowing your energy and how you are feeling in that moment which is most important. It is not about the gratification of manifesting the object of your desire.
