The final symbol is the Master Symbol, which is used to attune others. It is called Dai Ko Myo by the Japanese. This symbol is only shared by masters after the student has advanced to the level of being able to attune others and teach Reiki.

Dai Ko Myo (The Master Symbol)

This is a very powerful symbol that should not be used unless you are a teacher and have received all of the needed attunements yourself. There is still much that you can teach and study without this symbol. You should focus on all the other aspects of Reiki before trying to attune other people.

There are many different types and styles of attunements. Every practitioner has a different way to attune their students. Some teachers insist on doing a traditional attunement, which demands taking time to develop your own personal practice before advancing to the next level. Others say that all three attunements can be received in the same day and a student can become a master without any practice. Some even say that all three attunements can be given over a distance at the same time. Most teachers require a few hundred dollars to perform each attunement. The truth is hard to find.

Choosing a teacher can seem overwhelming at first, but it is very important. There is no way to give a bad attunement, but some teacher's attunements will be much stronger than others. Furthermore, the prices may not guarantee the strength of the teaching. Also, not every type of Reiki suits every person. Some people need a strict set of rules and a schedule to follow. Other people need freedom to the guidance they receive. So choose wisely.

Before you begin searching for a teacher, you should decide what style of Reiki you prefer. Though this course focused on the more traditional side of Japanese Reiki, there are many styles to this type of Reiki as well as many different types of Reiki. The following section will help you search and learn about the various types and styles of this art.

Wisdom Of The Heart Church, New Age, Law Of Attraction, Chakra, Dream Interpretation
